In addition to directing and designing, Mr. Schamberger is an avid opera educator. After serving as Visiting Professor of Opera at DePauw University for six years, he serves now as Director of Opera at the Bienen School of Music at Northwestern University. He is a frequent faculty member at young artist programs, music festivals and conservatories throughout the world. His expertise includes acting and dramatic interpretation as well as style and language coaching, specifically for German language repertoire. He has served as principal language coach for several professional productions.
Mr. Schamberger maintains a private coaching studio in Chicago and New York City.
